Mondelēz India introduces Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Dubai Chocolate with premium limited-edition packaging

Mondelēz India has introduced Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Dubai Chocolate, a limited-edition product that brings the recognised Dubai chocolate trend to Indian consumers through a combination of flavour innovation, premium positioning and differentiated pack design.

Launched in Mumbai on 18 June 2026, the chocolate combines Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk with a filling of pistachio crème and crispy kadayfi pastry. It is available for a limited period through leading quick-commerce platforms and selected retail outlets across India.

The packaging retains Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk’s established purple brand identity while introducing green and gold decorative graphics that signal the product’s Middle Eastern inspiration. A large gold Silk emblem remains the dominant visual asset, while the Dubai Chocolate name is given prominent front-of-pack placement. Product imagery showing the chocolate’s green pistachio and kadayfi filling provides consumers with a visual indication of its texture and flavour profile.

The design allows Mondelēz to distinguish the limited edition from the core Silk range without moving away from the brand’s familiar identity. Its contrasting colour palette, patterned border elements and filling imagery create shelf differentiation while supporting the product’s premium and indulgent positioning.

The launch demonstrates how established confectionery brands can use limited-edition packaging to translate an international food trend for a local market. Rather than creating a separate brand, Mondelēz has adapted an existing premium product platform through regionally inspired flavour cues and pack graphics.

The pack operates as both a brand identifier and a visual storytelling tool, connecting Cadbury Silk’s established equity with a dessert trend associated with Dubai.
